Counselling for Autism, ADHD and AuDHD Adults

I offer compassionate, neuro-affirming, queer-affirming counselling which is a safe space to talk about anything. Many neurodivergent people feel the need to look back and examine past experiences when they are first diagnosed or suspect they are neurodivergent. I can help with that process as well as anything else in life which is causing difficulty for you. Issues I often deal with include: integrating what a diagnosis means to you, parenting as a neurodivergent person, work issues, exploring sexuality or gender identity, learning about sensory issues, capacity, regulation, emotions and motivation.

What does counselling with me look like? I work online, so you can talk to me from home. You are in charge of the process so you can decide how often you want sessions and how many sessions you'd like. You tell me what the issues are that you are struggling with and we talk about them - I can help to put a name to feelings or experiences, to explain reasons behind issues which you might not have been aware of, and help you to explore options and solutions.

I always work to the ethical standards required of me by my professional association, the ACCPH. As part of those required standards, I have a regular counsellor's supervisor who oversees my work, and I always hold current professional liability insurance.

If you are interested in counselling with me, please email me at mailto:info@neuroreflections.co.uk or use the  contact page and I can will reply to arrange a free half-hour video-chat session via Zoom so you can decide if I am the right person for you. My fees are £50 per hour-long session on Zoom for either counselling or coaching.
